Once they are ready, we will be following the Cartman family as they move into an apartment building in Belladonna Cove. As well as looking at the basics of apartment life, we will also be looking at the concepts of reputation and social groups.

The Sims 3: February 20

Today EA announced that The Sims 3 has received a release date. By 20 February 2009 everybody should be able to get the game. A limited collector's edition will also contain a Plumbob USB drive with matching green cabinet, an in-game Italian-style sports car, a Tips and Hints guide and some Sims 3 Plumbob stickers. If you pre-order at selected retailers, you'll also receive an additional exclusive in-game vintage sports car and a collectible poster. Details about worldwide availability of this limited edition have not yet been given - the limited DVD edition of the Sims 2 was not available everywhere at the time, but things may very well be different this time. The Sims Zone Previews Apartment Life

Last Thursday we got a chance to check out Apartment Life just a few weeks before its release. After some hard work our preview is now ready for you to read and see. While we do not cover every feature of the pack (due to time constraints), it is an in-depth look into the new apartments, magic and some of the new items that come with this eighth expansion pack for the Sims 2. The Sims 2 Apartment Life - Video & Comic Strips

With all this news of The Sims 3, we must not forget Apartment Life.

There is a trailer video for this EP available which can be found on the Apartment Life page at the official site. Also, there are three comic strips telling currently three different stories and highlighting some different features available in this expansion pack which is due to be released in about 4 weeks.

On the official website for The Sims 3 , a trailer video has been released and there are also some new screenshots in the different sections.

Also, recently, a fan event was held at EA in California and Josh from Worldsims, which is one of our affiliate sites, was able to attend. While he was there, he held a live blogging session, which me, ChEeTaH and Rosana were part of. I took the transcript and tidied it up so click here to read about what looks like it could be a great game.
